Ocean City Motorcycle Festival – Announcement

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and current regulations from the UK Government, it is with great disappointment that the Ocean City Motorcycle Festival (OCMF) team has announced the cancellation of the 2020 Ocean City Motorcycle Festival weekend including the Ocean City Bike Show and Megaride on Plymouth Hoe Promenade that had been planned to take place later this year on the 15th and 16th August.

We have left this difficult decision for as long as we feasibly could, but in line with the recent statement from Plymouth City Council that all events planned to be held during August have been cancelled. However, with the current conditions on social distancing and possible Government restrictions on large events for the foreseeable future, it is just not possible to host a safe event for all those involved.

Our main obligation and priority is to protect the health and safety of our visitors, traders, exhibitors, staff and all those involved in preparing and delivering the annual Ocean City Motorcycle Festival, which means that this is the safest and only decision we could make.

We look forward very much to putting on the Ocean City Motorcycle Festival again in 2021. The OCMF team will be in touch with traders, caterers and bands over the coming days to explain their pre-booked options.

If you would still like to donate your entrance fee for the event to the chosen charities Devon Air Ambulance and Cornwall Air Ambulance please do so by visiting their own websites.

Stay safe all from the OCMF team.
